Welcome! My website is dedicated to following my interests and achievements in engineering, physics, aeronautics and astronomy. In the beginning it was model rocketry, and I received a great deal of support from rocketeers in the organization that I belonged to, as well as my parents. The organization I was a member of is known as the Monroe Astronautical Rocket Society (MARS), and there I received praise for several home-builds that lifted off the launch pad. Not long after it became apparent that I'd like to study things further than would ever be reachable with launch vehicles. Astronomy then became an area of focus because I began to become aware of the strange, complex and challenging obstacles involved with attempting to learn about things beyond what we would normally see in our everyday lives. Since then I’ve become a member of the Astronomy Section of the Rochester Academy of Science (ASRAS), and enjoy going to the monthly meetings and learning from those who have accomplished what I hope to one day become. I also observe with my own equipment in order to record the sun’s progress in the solar cycle and make depictions of various deep-sky objects. My work has been featured in several issues of Astronomy Magazine, including an article I wrote on “Sketching Deep Sky Objects” in the January 2012 issue and several other appearances at the interest of columnists and editors. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions, comments or suggestions and I'll do my best to reply the first chance I get. Clear skies!
